Sport as a catalyst for change
Established in 2019, HSDF is a registered South African NPO (232-596) dedicated to transforming lives through sport, education and leadership.
Our Story
HSDF was founded in 2019 by a group of coaches, educators and parents who saw a simple truth: when children have access to sport, they gain access to opportunity. From a single after-school session on a borrowed pitch, we have grown into a multi-programme foundation reaching more than 4,500 children a year.
Today we deliver after-school sport, holiday camps, physical education support, digital skills training and youth leadership pathways — all with the same belief: every child, everywhere, deserves the chance to play, learn and lead.

To use sport and physical literacy as tools to empower children and youth through education, health, leadership, skills development and community building.
